BusbarTrunking System is a prefabricated electrical distribution systemconsisting of busbars in a protective enclosure , including straightlengths, fittings, devices and accessories. These are mainly of twotypes namely Air-Insula ted Trunking Busbar System and SandwichTrunking Busbar System.Busbar Trunking System of L&T comes in a metal enclosure and isquite compact in size. It requires no maintenance and can easilylast for more than 20 years. Compared to normal cabling, itrequires much less space and can be installed within a very short time.Busducts are fully type-tested at various independent laboratories,and conforms to international standards. This ensures completeintegrity of the entire busduct system. All the L&T manufacturingfacilities are compliant to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001Sandwich Busbar Trunking System has a high tolerance to heavyvoltage drop. It has single bolted copper or alumium busbars meantfor 250A to 6300A current for a load of maximum 1000V.
